Autumn at Oz Background
Autumn at Oz is located at the Land of Oz, the site of a Wizard of Oz theme park from 1970-1980. After financial hardships in 1980, the amusement park closed its doors, and the land returned to the original landowners. It wasn’t until 1993 that Autumn at Oz debuted its first season, reopening the park to the public. Ever since, this festival has been an annual fall tradition, welcoming thousands of visitors looking to celebrate the legacy of Oz!

Getting Here and Parking Information

The time on your ticket is your boarding time to get into the park, which is only accessible via the Land of Oz shuttle or the scenic chair lift. Things to Do During Autumn at Oz
Autumn at Oz is a unique event combining a classic festival atmosphere with an immersive theatrical experience. Travel to the magical land of Oz and experience the classic story through live performances, meet-and-greet characters, and scenes from the story. Start at Gale’s Kansas farm before being pulled into Tornado Storm Cellar, which will transport you to the magical Land of Oz. Then, walk along the Yellow Brick Road and meet Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion on your way to meet the Wizard. The end of your journey ends with the spectacular Magic Moment Show.
